Although Apple isn’t too keen on making its popular iPhone FLASH compatible, however Adobe believes it can provide the same. Now that the iPhone SDK is out, Adobe plans to develop the Flash player for Apple iPhone itself!

Adobe Chief Executive Shantanu Narayen said “We believe Flash is synonymous with the Internet experience, and we are committed to bringing Flash to the iPhone,” adding, “We have evaluated (the software developer tools) and we think we can develop an iPhone Flash player ourselves.”

Adobe has clarified,

They are not developing the FLASH for iPhone yet, but they are hopeful that Apple\’s cooperation will make it possible.

Apparently the SDK has some limitations which would not allow Adobe to develop the Flash player independently.
