iPhone Effect – Safari usage Jumps 64%

Safari is no doubt the most popular Internet Browser on mobile! And here are some more official words cementing the fact. According to StatCounter Safari usage on the iPhone has increased by 64% since December 07.

So the iPhone now hold 0.08% of the Global Internet Browser market (up from 0.03% some time back). And in the US the iPhone browser leads mobile market with 0.23% market share! Just for the records, Nokia holds 0.25% of the Global browser market..


StatCounter founder and CEO Aodhan Cullen said, “The key message is that iPhone is more than living up to its claims of being a user friendly Internet browser, unlike many other cell phones.”
