Fring for iPhone 1.x (iPhone VoIP) | All on the iPhone, iPod touch & iPad

Fring is here! We have already seen Fring working for various smartphones and its undoubtedly one of the most popular mobile software today. And here we have it for the iPhone now…

Using Fring you can integrate your GTalk / MSN / SIP and ICQ and make free internet calls (i.e. it supports voice chat). It supports a variety of platforms form Symbian to Windows Mobile (and now the Apple iPhone).

LONDON, 15th April 2008, fring® today became the world’s first mobile VoIP application to be made publicly available for the iconic apple iPhone™, enabling users to talk, chat and interact with other fring users (“fringsters”) and all of their online communities, using their iPhone’s™ WiFi connection.

Although we haven’t tested it ourselves yet, we are sure it will do just fine! Ok So we have tested the Fring (currently in beta) and are quite pleased with the quality over our standard 2mbps connection here in Mumbai. Hoping that future versions will do much better!
