Well all iPhone fans must be waiting for this software. Its called MyMedia (Source iPod Touched: ipodtouched.net/repo.xml) and it enables downloads of song and video files on the iPhone. You also have an option to buffer the song or video. You can either follow the link to the file or type the link for download on safari (which will start playing the file in QuickTime). It automatically bookmarks the link on the application and when you go to the application menu it provides with you with the option to download it or buffer it again. You don’t need to buffer the whole song on Safari-QuickTime (Saves Time & Bandwidth) as the same gets added to the application instantly (Though Videos is a little pain in that way).
The only problem is that the media downloaded using this software won’t show up in the iPod menu of your iPhone, you need to play them from the application itself.

Although the software has minor bugs (being a beta release), it still is kewl enough! So with the future versions of this sofware, we might be able to strike out a big drawback from our list of “The Great iPhone Drawbacks“.
