Agile messenger is a very fine Im for the Apple iPhone and the iPOD touch.
Fring has competition now. And frankly in my opinion Agile Messenger is BETTER! Agile allows you to use Smilies and a lot more:
Features:
- Runs in background (features can be tuned off) and even when the iPhone is on sleep mode. Giving you sound alerts upon receiving a IM and other events.
- ALLOWS COPY PASTE: YES! You can copy and paste text within the messenger. Copy form One window and paste on another.
- Supports – G-Talk (Google IM), MSN, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ & Jabber
- Lets you click pictures with the iPhone camera and send them over the messenger (instantly). They appear very neat.
- Has easy one-tap icons for setting your online status and messages
- Shows offline messages aswell!
- Its interface is slick and easy to work with at every level – working with contacts, showing individual conversations each in their own tab, menus that drop down and get out of the way quickly once you tap away from them, and good looking colors and buttons throughout.
- Shows Traffic counter (not a must utility), which shows data send and received (bytes)
- Supports a variety of MULTIPLE platforms and languages
Downloads on your jailbroken iPhone via ModMyiFone source. You shouldn’t require to add any new source to your Installer for this.
On iPhone firmware version 2.0 we are using the Free AppStore app IM+ All-in-one-messenger – Video Review here
Update: Agile Messenger is now on AppStore for V2.x || Check it out here
