Believe it or not; this 1000$ iPhone App ($999.99) actually did nothing but display a Gem logo on your iPhone screen and SHINE. Oh yes, and this wonderfOOL App also gives you a secret mantra to Stay Rich… Many took it as a joke and pressed the buy button, only to repent later. But I must compliment the creator of this App for his brillance.
Though the App didn’t violate any of the Appstore terms, it certainly caused some -ve PR for Apple. No points for guessing, Apple has taken the App down (probably after a complaint thats going around as a review screenshot of the app, see downstairs), but not before 9 people have actually spent $1k each to get this useless App!
