Apple has just released the iPhone firmware version 2.0.2; but sadly adds no new functionality. The release notes suggests only bug fixes. The much needed fix to the slow typing and scrolling issue seems to be addressed.
So does the 2.02 come with the software fix for 3G reception issue? Well we are hearing two different stories at the moment:

“some users have reported that the update manifests poorer 3G reception that 2.0.1″ – iPhone Atlas
Guess we will have to wait for more reactions before we can be sure about the 3G issue and V2.0.2 !
Update: Complains of several Apps not being compatible (not working after the software update) with 2.0.2 are coming out.
