Ever since, the iPhone came into existence, the mobile phone market has become tense. Manufacturers worldwide has been working, on different concepts to counter the Apple Hype. Probably the most popular corporate device Blackberry also faces some heat from the Apple iPhone (3G). And they still decide to stick with their design (though with a touchscreen in development as well).

So will Apple iPhone beat the Blackberry Bold? Probably Not…
Blackberry is undoubtedly the businessman’s phone. The QWERTY is addictive, and no matter what, the iPhone doesn’t even come close to the comfort that it provides. Add to it the fragile nature of the Touchscreen Vs the strong enough all plastic and metal built of the Blackberries.
The only step that Apple has taken towards luring the business users is the Ms Exchange option. However, there is more to RIM’s Blackberry …
iPhone still lacks basic features like SMS forwarding, Video recording, Copy & Paste of Text etc. The strong point of the iPhone has been the OS and Touch features. The MacOS that powers the iPhone is smooth and exceptionally fast add to that the touch features and media functions; a whole lot of iPod fans would jump over. But when it comes to corporate users its still not a significant attraction. Web surfing, videos and music are secondary purposes. The primary purpose served by the Blackberry is the emailing and office apps.
The GPS and WiFi are common to both the iPhone and the Blackberry Bold. So no read edge over their. iPhone is trying to steal the market from Blackberry  which is already immensely popular, but the users seem to be comfortable with it now.
Another downer is the exclusive tie-ups with operators that limits the freedom of the consumer.
