Revealed: Apple tracking all WEB activity on iPhone? | All on the iPhone, iPod touch & iPad

The App Kill switch was good enough controversy for Apple. But here is a even bigger concern – A hacker known by the name “NerveGas” has revealed that Apple tracks / loggs all internet activity on the iPhone. Ranging from MAPS, GPS, Safari, email, stocks … everything!

NerveGas has demonstrated the same in a webcast; a copy of the same should be online soon.

“This practice seems to be in place across all versions of iPhone software from v1.0 all the way to the current 2.0 software,” he said. “I haven’t checked out 2.1 yet, but I suspect it hasn’t changed.”
