Here is a simple and sweet guide…
These roms brings you the classic games on the iPhone from SEGA Genesis to Playstation PSX … Super Mario, Road Runner, Contra … You name it .. and its here.
Wondering how to install the PSX, NES, GBA …. roms on the iPhone 3G or v2.0 or the iPhone 3.0 i.e. 3G S?
Here is what you need
- a) iPhone Browser Software (See here) Tip: Download the latest version
- b) Datacable to connect to your PC
- c) Game Roms (Find here) Tip: Take the Roms with J tag
- d) Game Emulators for the iPhone via CYDIA: genesis4iphone / gpsPhone / NES / psx4iphone
Now the procedure is simple… Just follow the steps.
- 1) Install iPhone browser
- 2) Download the Roms
- 3) Connect your iPhone to PC via Datacable
- 4) Close iTunes
- 5) Now open iPhone Browser
- 6) Roms have to be placed in VAR/MOBILE/MEDIA/ROMs/*** directory
- 7) Inside ROMs you will need to create the respective folders

Just Drag and Drop the extracted ROM files you downloaded to the respective folder insider ROMs
- For Example if you are loading nes roms (.nes roms), place all roms in a folder named ‘NES’ (Cap sensitive). Then create another folder named ROMs (Cap sensitive) and place ‘NES’ inside it.
- Same goes for GBA, PSX and SEGA GENESIS
- 9) Now using the emulator we installed via CYDIA and PLAY!!

While it\\\’s great that the pro hackers have pretty much kept up with firmware upgrades and deserve any and all thanks due, the Genesis and PSX need to go fullscreen to take advantage of the almost PSP size screen. Anyone know if this is going to happen on iphone 2xx FW pwn?
The method is the same for all the iphone firmware version..even for 3.0..
But you also get it as a package on Cydia..
hi dowloaded the rom put them in the directory installed nes emulator from cydia its a mushroom icon from mario brother, i click on it but nothing happens and i go back to the home screen. any ides please help.
got it working , downloaded the nes emulator again, rebooted the phone, and now it works, GREAT THANKS TO ALL
i installed the app and the roms but nothing works, when i click on the rom it just closes, any help?
