WinterBoard is a Free Cydia App for your Jailbroken iPhone 3G (iPhone 2.x). Its a summerboard (V1.1.4 app) replacement that allows you to manage your themes. It gives you the ability to completely change the home screen (springboard) wallpaper, icons, status bar, and all that summerboard did.
WinterBoard has loads of features and is much more stable the then Summerboard we saw for the old iPhone. WB allows you to change fonts, keyboard looks, battery indicator, phone dialer, lockscreen, wallpapers/background and even your carrier name!!

Update: Winterboard’s Latest version is said to be compatible with iPhone 3GS and we have tested it on the iPhone and iPod Touch firmware wersion 3.0 and 3.01 . Do try it out

PLEASE HELP!..I have an IPhone 3G. It WAS unlocked and it was working great. I hooked it up to iTunes and it downloaded the new iTunes on my phone. When it did that it not only locked my phone but it erased EVERYTHING I had on the WinterBoard. Everything I have saved on there is gone. I need it back. Can someone please tell me how to get all my applications back. I don’t know what to do. I had pretty much everything saved under WinterBoard. If you can help I would be SO GRATEFUL. Thank You.

hello there, i’ve downloaded the winterboard and am loving the whole new customizations I can do to my iPhone.
I have and iPhone 3G 8GB running the 4.0.1 software version and have got one of the preset themes on my phone, the thing i was wantingf help with is how to transfer the themes that’re listed on this site to my iPhone as they’re so much better than the winterboard ones. Thanks
