Opera Mini as we know is the most popular and probably the best mobile browser. With compression upto 85% OperaMini manages to be a swift, stable and fast mobile browser. Many popular handset manufactures bundle Opera by default on their handsets. Such is the might of the Opera Mini!
But it takes more than just a good product to convince Apple! Apparently the official Opera Mini App for the iPhone has been rejected by Apple. The reason might be the same as before ‘duplicates an existing Apple app (iPhone Safari)’.
Opera operates in a highly competitive market with Google, Mozilla, Microsoft all next to it. But its the quality of the OperaMini that makes it a must have for mobile users…
Update: Some more details have emerged, apparently Opera Mini was never submitted to the AppStore, but they know it already that Apple won’t allow it.
