StatusNotifier – Get Notifications in Status Bar – Cydia App

StatusNotifier installs for free via Cydia & adds Email, SMS, Voicemail and other notifications in the status bar of the iPhone 2.x.

Status Notifier gives you the following options; the app will let you control which notifications you want to appear also letting you get a sound or vibrating alert for the same if you’ve gone a while without checking your SMS, email, IM, etc

Adding to this setup the Status Notifier Stock Icons theme using winterboard (via Cydia again) gives the following result.

Combining this App with backgrounder lets you run your IM in background and get notifications via Status Notifier for messages on the IM, WOW
