Goolge is crazy with the iPhone. This video below shows a mindblowing Google App for the iPhone that lets your speak to make a web search. The app also lets you search the iPhone contacts and uses your location for localized search.
Not only that; as soon as you launch the search using the app, it detects the motion of your phone and decides when to start recording your voice and when to end!! (See Video for Demo)
update: We are really sad that the Video in question has been taken off air by google. Seems like there is some unexpected delay in getting the app to the Appstore. The video is back, so is the APP
It appears that we’ve got another false start our hands — Google’s new (and super cool sounding) voice search feature in their iPhone application is nowhere to be found. The New York Times reported that it would be available in the App Store “as soon as Friday”, but it’s still missing, and any reference to the new feature have been taken down by Google. [ZdNet]
