Apple / Adobe team up officially to bring Flash on iPhone

This is probably the biggest news we have heard recently about the iPhone. After facing continuous criticism and months of speculation at last it seems that Flash support would come to the Apple iPhone.

“It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating,” Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen says. “The ball is in our court. The onus is on us to deliver.”

While Apple has not shown any great need for the Flash on iPhone, it has said in the past that Flash is too heavy for a mobile device and Flash Lite is too limited in features. It seems here Apple and Adobe would try to work something specially for the iPhone. Hope they get it right.
