iSutra is a Kamasutra add-on for the iPhone via Cydia. Kamasutra is an ancient Indian book about human sex behaviors and sex positions. I downloaded the app with a pre-conception that the app would contain obscene, pornographic pictures and positions. However the app isn’t all that vulgar or contains obscene pictures. The app is comes without any adult content and is solely for teaching purpose.
When you open the app you will come across the home page of the app which has a short description about Kamasutra. Whenever you open the app there will be a pop-up for donation. When you tap on the upper-left button you come to the iSutra page which has a list of various positions like the doggy, the trap, the carriage etc. which are classified under different heads like from behind, oral, sitting, on side etc. As soon as you click on one of them the description for the particular position opens up and there is a dialog box at the bottom describing the male and the female review/experience of that particular position (see screenshots). There is also a cartoon sketch of the position. The app also provides an option to mail a friend and gives star-rating to the different positions. You can also stumble the positions randomly by clicking the button on the top-right.
The app looks neat with a good user-interface and is easy to use. The app is not all that pornographic and is a nice guide for kamasutra on the iPhone. The app also hopes to get an entry into the AppStore pretty soon.
Update: The app has been updated recently and has added a few more options and has become more stable. The interface rocks! Also there is an added option to find your best suitable position by typing you and your partners name. Its quite entertaining to say the least. Also added thanksgiving page.

UPDATE-2: The app currently is not hosted on Cydia and hence cannot be downloaded. This is due to some problem with the ispazio repository’s server which went down a month back. The app was then removed from Cydia. However, we are trying to locate some sources from where we can download iSutra.

I have iSpazio instaled and still can’t find iSutra….Can anyone help me???? PLEASE!!!!
I have the same problem as “ro”. iSpazio is installed on my iphone but isutra is not listed as one of the app. Anyone that can help would be appreciated. Thanks
iSutra app has currently been removed from cydia. iSpazio repository which hosted this app ran into server problems lately and since then the app has mysteriously vanished away from cydia. The strange part is that I never removed the app from my iPhone but it automatically got deleted from Cydia. Now the only way is to find the app folder and ssh it into the iPhone. Even we are looking from which other sources can we download this app

Disregard my last comment. You have to download it through your iPod/iPhone and use iPhoneBrowser to extract the .rar to your computer and then sync it with iTunes

Easy Installation:
Drop the .deb file downloaded above to var/root/media/Cydia/AutoInstall and restart iPhone
Note: if you don’t see the AutoInstall folder you have to make it and then drop the .deb inside it.
How do I enter to var/root/, etc. My iPhone doesn’t appear on my desktop as a drive.

I was searching and trying in vain for months, I even had a folder “iSutra under construction” on my mac.
@Khry: I use Phoneview (shareware by ecamm) and set “full view” then added the two folders as described. A Matter of seconds!
