Mew Seek Pro has arrived! Yes, there has been a new paid version launched for the app named MewSeek Pro. For all those who don’t know about MewSeek, it is a P2P client for the iPhone which allows you to download songs over wifi/3G. So why Pro?? Thats because, the app has added some new features and has also become paid. But the free version is still available via Cydia. So you all must be curious to know whats new in this paid version.
Well the app has added the feature to download the songs on MewSeek to the default iPod, so you can play and access the downloaded song from the default ipod only. They have also worked on the search tab and it looks better. The app looks better and more stable than the free version. The app also adds the feature to function fully in the background. It also includes the option to ReSync and play the song in the ‘Downloads’ tab. For trial basis, the app allows you to download three songs to the default music player i.e iPod. To be able to use the full version you will have to register by paying an amount of $6.99. You will find the registration page under the home tab.
UPDATE: The app has been cracked and can be downloaded for free. Read Here

So… Basically what I’m hearing is this: I was able to get SOULseek for iPhone FW 1.1.x for free, and it did all of these things…. And now the developer has decided to make the only useful feature on it (ability to play from default iPod song list) something I have to PAY for?
I usually donate money, in fact, I did donate money to the developer back when it was soulseek. I will not be doing that this time, however. Someone make a mobile version of limewire or something cuz this is bull.
ANy1 knows if its difficult to make apps for V2.0 compared to 1.x
Yeah..for a start..smsd would do..rest all the available softwares are paid
It is a really interesting findings.
