Another Apple patent, this one reveals plans of a biometric security measure to protect and lockdown iPhones and Macbook to avoid unauthorized usage. But fingerprint security and face recognition is nothing new? However Apple plants to make this feature integrated such that the user wont be distracted from their normal usage routine / pattern.
The face detection cameras, sensors / fingerprint scanners would be placed either behind the display or under the keys such that the it doesnt interfere with your work or require you to change the way you use the device.
The patent filing goes to great heights with DNA samples and voice patterns included in the biometric check aswell. This is surely something a decade away IMO! Till then lets wait for the iPhone to turn brick if stolen.
