While Apple looks to counter the Pre with the iPhone 3.0 in June, Palm / Sprint have decided to launch the Pre as soon as April 30. That would be almost 2 months before the iPhone fans get the iPhone 3.0 hands on. Also rumored is that the pricing of the Palm PRE would be $299 with contract. Now thats not too bad either.
The beta tester who leaked this info on Twitter might be wrong, but certianly a worry for iPhone 3.0 plans which plans to counter the Nokia N97 and the Palm Pre. (See iPhone vs Pre Fun Video)
