QuickPWN jailbreak utility for the iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 build 7A280f is out. The beta release 3 of OS 3.0 is good and speedy. Anxious iPhone fans can consider upgrading to the same, but our warning still stands!
The unofficial QuickPWN is out and ready to bring your favourite apps at least. Currently you can only jailbreak the iPhone 1st gen 3.0 Beta 3, iPhone 3G 3.0 beta 3, and iPod Touch 1st Gen 3.0 beta 3 firmware. iPod Touch 2nd gen not yet supported. With newer baseband versions and firmware upgrades to iPhone OS, it gets trickier to jailbreak / unlock an iPhone or iPod touch.
Apple has its own agenda to stop people from jailbreaking, that may be a business model factor with App Store or a plain security concern for Jailbreaking exposes your device to untested / non certified softwares and tweaks. Given that there are enough limitations on the iPhone that we want to battle, the choice here is hard to make. Proceed at your own risk though!
