In a recent article we gave you a preview of iFighter Lite, one of the most popular arcade game on the AppStore (which is actually free). Well now comes SkyForce one of the most popular games on mobile handsets like Nokia and Sony. The game is pretty similar to iFighter Lite, the game has a 2D view and the main aim of the game is to destroy enemies and move forward to the next level. There are three difficulty levels and you have twelve stages in all to complete which makes it a total of 36. The games controls are pretty simple, just slide your fingers on the screen to move your plane. The plane continuously fires bullets making your job easier and helps you to concentrate more on the game. The game has excellent graphics, great interface and easy controls giving it a slight edge over iFighter Lite which only has one level.
To pass a level you have to destroy a certain percentage of the level/enemies. If that percentage isn’t met, the player has to again play that level. Powerups and shield boosts can be picked up in the level to help with the player’s task to destroy the enemy planes and tanks. The game also offers many languages to choose from.
Overall, I am very much impressed by the game and its certainly in my top 20 games for the iPhone. The game has nice sounds which go well with the pace of the game. The game is descently priced at $2.99 and is currently sale @ $0.99. Also, the game is highly addictive and real fun to play. So all you fans who love SkyForce, its a must buy for you all.
