Apple has just released the beta version of its upcoming OS 3.1 to developers, and we can expect either 3.01 or 3.1 soon. iPhone dev teams concern that Apple would break its Ultrasn0w in upcoming v3.01 has prompted them to delay jailbreaking the 3GS for now. However, the iPhone OS 3.1 has some good fixes:
- Non-destructive video editing: Video editing / trimming now gives you an option to save a copy or overwrite the same copy
- Voice Control now works over Bluetooth
- iPhone vibrates when moving icons
- Updated AT&T profile to 4.2
- Updated modem firmware to 5.08.01
Some more tweaks that are not seen at the front end are related to graphics performance and video editing. We can expect some cool App Storea apps for video editing soon!
