Offline Maps has been a immensely popular app on Cydia. The app allows you to view your google maps when you are offline. Maps Enhancer via Cydia also does something similar by saving the map cache. But now iMaps Pro brings offline map viewing officially to the AppStore. It has listed maps of various cities all over the world including countries like US, Australia, India etc which can be viewed offline with no internet facilities like Wifi/3G/EDGE.
Though, the app is superb with impressive features, and user-interface it doesn’t have an overall appeal. The maps are pretty average, and I prefer google maps over these maps. Also, the maps have only one view i.e. map view while google maps have three map, satellite and hybrid. The descriptions given on the map is very poor (at least for my city) like no taluka name, landmarks etc. Even the zooming feature is average. However, the app is very useful to users who need offline maps to their city.
