While Safari Mobile is a good enough browser to surf basic text websites like Wikipedia, the Wikimedia foundation has released a free iPhone app. Its a trend and some convenience aswell to have an iTouch app today. The foundation plans to update the app regularly and its also looking at other platforms like the Android and Palm.
The official wiki app comes a little late with many third party apps already cashing in on the opportunity all ready. The Wiki app is simple and a clean Ad free version that should be good for many.
