uMonitor app via Cydia is a uTorrent client for the iPhone. It performs a simple yet very important function of keeping a track and monitoring all your torrent downloads right from your iPhone. uMonitor shows a detailed list of all the torrents on your iPhone. It makes use of the web gui API to show your current torrent downloads from anywhere you want. It also gives you the option for customizable labels.
However, connecting your uMonitor to uTorrent can be a bit tricky.. You first have to fill in all the four settings i.e. the address, port, username and password in the uMonitor settings panel. Also, make sure that your Web-Gui is enabled.
According to the developer, Apple rejected this app as it doesn’t want any torrent app on the iPhone. Therefore, we have it here on Cydia and that too for free. It installs only on jailbroken iPhones running on iPhone 3.0. It comes via Zodttd and MacCiti’s Repository.
The app works fine on the iPhone / iPod Touch and is pretty stable. The developer says that he is coming up with an updated version which will have the following features given below.
