iPhone’s default Text app or infact now the Message app in 3.0 isn’t the best we have seen on Mobile phones. Though Apple has improved it by adding features such as SMS forwarding, Single sms deletion and Multiple SMS etc. it still lacks one common feature of getting delivery reports.
People can argue that we can get the delivery report by typing a simple text before the message (different for different carriers), but that’s quite annoying. Also, you can use iRealSms which has the system to get delivery reports, but even that is a different app altogether. How can you get message delivery report on your default text / message app ?
We have the Answer! iPhone Delivery app via Cydia does the job. It brings sms delivery report to your default message app on your iPhone 3.0. You can get it for free via the Xsellize Repository. After downloading the app from cydia, you will need to activate it by goin to settings/ messages and enable the delivery report toggle. To add the Xsellize Repository see this link here.
