Remember the Ringtones app for 2.x. Now its available for iphone firmware 3.o as well! The app allows you to convert your songs on your ipod directly into ringtones right from your iPhone. So there is no need to convert the songs on iTunes or even syncing it. Just convert it and forget about it. The songs/ ringtone you converted gets listed on your ringtones list in Settings app. The app opens up with its home page where you have to click on the ‘start converting’ tab. After you click on it, you will see a the ipod song list coming up classified according to the artists list. So you need to remember the artist folder in which your song is placed.
The app only converts caller ringtones and not sms ringtones unlike in its previous version. However, sms ringtones might come in the coming updates. Also you can’t choose and edit the songs if you want a specefic paragraph of the song. You have to convert the whole song and set it as a ringtone. So this a feature we would like to get on this app in the near future.
But on the whole the app functions great and is certainly worth giving a try. However, now it has to compete with apps like AnyRing and ErProfile who also convert ringtones directly from the ipod songs list. To download the app search for ‘ringtones3′ on cydia.

Its a real nice app for the iPhone..However, I expect some more features like editing and also sms ringtones..
this app broke my cydia so now it won’t open

Doesn’t work for me at 3.1. Created ringtones never appear in the ringtones list.
Created ringtones won’t appear in the ringtones list on 3.1. Publisher can’t be contacted via Rock.app. Very fishy.

I liked this app and it did work on my 3.1.2 I Phone . However only one thing I would like to see on this awesome app. The ability to edit / delete if I get tired of any of my ring tones that I converted. Also ring tones must be MP3 in order to work . Hope to see new update.

This is a great app! i like it much better than anytone cause it actually puts your ringtone into your preferences.app. Also, anytone lags when you get called, this is smooth. A little buggy, needs some work, but great app!

To Delete ringtones you created usinng this software:-
1) Download iFunbox
2) Navigate to:- Raw File System>Library>Ringtones
3) Search for the name of the ringtone, and right click on it and delete
4) Refresh, and the ringtone should have been deleted

bueno con ringtones3 puedo usar la musica de mi cel cortarla y escuchar de timbre la parte k quiera de la cancion no me gusta tener k descargar los tonos pero gracias por la alluda ok.
