Facebook / Twitter banned at your office place? Well no worries now, this cool iPhone browser called ‘ Free Browser’ lets your surf these blocked sites. The browser in itself is simple with no tabs or multiple windows. However bookmarks are available and you have portrait mode. We tried blocking Facebook on our WiFi router and accessed it via this app. It did open! Yay, but we couldn’t login.

The App uses zend2 Online Anonymous Proxy services, if you office admin has factored this – you will need to look out for better options.

Warning: I cant be sure about how secure is confidential info being transmitted by this app. If this app was on App store we could be sure though. The app is AD supported.

FreeBrowser is available via BigBoss in Cydia / Icy

To access blocked websites I think the most secure is to use a hide IP address or VPNs connection. That’s why I like IP Privicy who has premium proxies and it’s not slowing down the Internet connection.

I am in Shanghai for a few months now, I`m using http://www.highspeedvpn.com to access blocked sites.

Works well for me, the VPN unblocked Facebook, YouTube etc.

It also works from my iPhone.
