Agile Messenger is yet another multiple messenger client app with Push for iPhone. Agile Messenger provides access to Google-talk, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, and Jabber. Well what makes this app is different is its user interface, I really like it and its much better and simple when you compare with its other rival like Beejive and IM+.

If your are having trouble with the stock font settings, then all you play with settings of this app. It lets you to choose the fonts and also lets you to adjust the size of emoticons.

If you have used other IM client apps available on AppStore, one thing you will notice is the speed where Agile Messenger wins, It opens/loads quite fast.

Another thing you will notice about this app is that it lets you connected while you use other iPhone, in simple it runs in background. Push Notification also worked fine. It also lets yout to send pictures, that are stored on phone or you can just capture with on the spot. You can also record your voice and send it to your friends.

Another cool feature that impressed me is the ‘Walk and Type View’, what this feature does is that it changes the background and enables the camera so that you can see where are you going while typing. (Yeah there is a dedicated app for that aswell, which sounded stupid, but its integrated in Agile now :) )

Chat logs are stored on person basis (just like on skype) so that its quite easy to recall from where you left off. All I want from future updates is that it should include support for skype, facebook and myspace.

Currently this Agile Messenger with Push is available on discount at $1.99 on AppStore  for a limited time period which is a steal, trust me. Actual price is $9.99 which is lil expensive.

It doesn’t run in the background… No AppStore app does. What it does is save the state and use push to tell you that there are new IMs. But the app itself is closed.
