Cydia is one of the most prolificĀ store for third-party iphone apps. Recently we have seen a keen effort from Saurik to make Cydia better in terms of loading time, crashes, queing etc. However, One feature it still lacks is the ability to enable/disable auto-refresh. Cydia automatically refreshes as soon as you open the app. This can be quite frustrating for people who do not want to refresh cydia as it takes some time for it to refresh ( more than a minute in my case..depends upon the number of sources you have installed and your internet speed).
But now there is a solution for that. iSpazio has brought a new Sbsettings toggle ‘NoCyfresh’ that gives you the option to enable or disable auto-refresh on Cydia. However, there is a slight glitch in the app. When you disable or enable the auto-refresh toggle, there is no green/ red toggle to indicate whether the on or off. Though I feelĀ that this issue will be taken care of in the next update to the app.
