3rd party apps for the iPhone were plenty and while others including the Palm Pre are slow in catching up with official or unofficial app stores, here is a good news for Pre owners – Precorder brings video recording abilities to the webOS powered smartphone. While the Pre has a great UI and a powerful OS which in a way combines the physical goodness of the blackberry QWERTY with the touch magic of the iPhone, the lack of video recording was a disappointment.
However now Pre users can cheer with Precorder bringing a respectable video recording with 480×320-pixel video at 30fps. Instructions on how to install here. Video demo below
