iPhone/iPod touch owners do not limit themselves to the 100,000+ applications available on the iTunes. No wonder the download enthusiast crossed 2bln download mark on iTunes, but the iPhone/iPod touch users are spending their money on other digital content too.

Technology law firm Olswang’s survey indicates that the iPhone/iPod touch users are more likely to spend their money on online digital content than the non-iPhone users. While in the ‘general population’, only 58% people would buy and download a movie online, the same index is as high as 73% for the iPhone users. The figures are equally prominent for digital magazines and eBooks. Only 30% of the total population are up for a digital magazine download and 29% for the eBook downloads. While for the iPhone/ iPod touch users, the figures are 38% for digital magazines and 42% for eBooks.

This survey is good but it hardly amazes me when compared to the long list of Apple milestones we already reported.
