After upgrading to OS 3.1.2, and doing a blackra1n jailbreak, you might’ve noticed that when you plug your iPhone/ITouch to use iPhoneBrowser, IPhoneBrowser opens and even it shows file browser but not in detail, I mean you cant access system files like var, Library and so on.And at the bottom of iPhoneBrowser window displays a notification which says “iPhone 3.1.2 (device name) is connected, not jailbroken (no afc2 service found)”
Dont worry there is a fix for this, All you need to install one patch from cydia to make your iPhoneBrowser work properly, Just follow below steps:
- Launch cydia and Search for ‘afc2add‘, Install it.
- Reboot your iPhone.
- Plug your iPhone and launch iPhoneBrowser, now you can access all system folders and files.
afc2add service is available on modmyi repo for free.
