I recently lost my good old iPhone 2G and am back to my Nokia E63 as my day to day phone. After being on the iPhone coming back to the Nokia is like going to the 90’s, but then there are things that I like about the E63. Here is it all…
What I miss about the iPhone:
- Twitter app, those twitpics have just stopped flowing out of my phone.
- Mobile internet. I am sure my GPRS bill will go down till I get a new iPhone.
- Expenses: I had a nice app to keep a track of my expenses. Missing it
- Calendar: I had recently started to structure my schedule with a calendar. Thats no longer live without the iPhone
- The amazing winterboard themes
- Spotlight search
What I don’t miss on the iPhone?:
- The inability to send out group messages (SMS)
- The need for a unofficial app to count sms length
- The onscreen touch keyboard
- The ringer / loudspeaker that never gets my attention
- The missed call alerts that kept pouring in (no I am not in NY and not on AT&T, still!)
- The time taken to reach the contacts app and digg out a phone no
And if you are wondering what the end result is… I am getting a new iPhone!

i lost my iphone 3gs few days back and now im bk to my n95 8gb……
No it was a 2yr old 2G. I din’t have box or IMEI or any tracking software. Have to forget it.
