L5 technology has a cool addon that sits on the dock of you iPhone / iTouch and lets you use it as a universal remote control, accessing anything from a HDTV to a music system. The infrared dongle (measuring 1.25 x .85 inches) comes with a free software that makes the iPhone work with it.
We have already seen software to control your PC music over wifi using the Jesus phone, but this takes things to a new level. For $49.9 you would be able to control all your gadgets with just once small addon on your iPhone / iPod touch.
The L5 Remote is portable and does not require batteries, Wi-Fi or external power to work. The product can control thousands of devices, including TVs, cable boxes, stereos, DVD players, ceiling fans, air conditioners, and many other products.
This is just one of the gizmos unveiled at CES 2010. We should expect tones of such iPhone / Apple accessories.
