iRealSMS 3.0: Great SMS application but overpriced

Apple’s Stock Message application is limited, you can only send and forward SMSes apart from that you can’t do anything which suxx bigtime !!! Apple’s Message app lacks very common features that a basic phone has like you cant see how many SMSes you’ve sent, this is very important when your plan has limited number of SMSes, Character count, Drafts and Templates.Well those are the basic functions that a cheap Phones have and but our iPhone lacks ! Thanx to Apple !!

Well there are quite few good Messaging apps available on cydia one them is iRealSMS 3.0 (upgraded form of iReal 2.0).  iRealSMS 3.0 adds all those basic features including some cool add-ons like Contacts picx, Smileys, Search SMSes, Forward via Mail, Password Lock. The feature that impressed me most is the QuickReply and QuickSend i.e if these features are enabled you can view and reply to incoming SMSes from anywhere without quitting the current app, this really saves a lot of time. Another thing that you’d love is it Contact Picx are displayed on your SMS, (if your contact has any Picture).You can easily create Templates and insert it on your SMS.

It also supports full Lanscape mode. If you Text alot then you enable its Background feature, so it will load quite fast than normal, coz once enabled it runs on Background, though it consumes some Memory so enable it only when you really want it. You can also block SMSes by enabling its Blacklist feature, all you need to add the number on blacklist.

iRealSMS also provides a new SMS service for iPhone. You can buy credits from iRealNetwork and use it for sending international SMS via iRealNetwork. It is really cheap when it comes to normal Service provider’s tarrif.

Overall iRealSMS 3.0 works great, this is what Apple’s Messages app was meant to be !!!
