How will Apple implement multitasking on the mobile OS is the question on everybody’s mind. The WebOS card deck system is awesome and the big move by Cupertino is now awaited. With iPhone, iPod touch and now the iPad sharing the same OS base, its really necessary for Apple to innovate and bring an awesome multitasking to the platform. Rumors suggest that the iPhone multitasking that is expected to be unveiled with the iPhone 4G / OS 4.0 would work like the Mac Expose feature. While the exact functioning might not be as the Expose, but several characteristics (read awesomeness) of the feature is inspired by the Expose UI. The command to toggle apps is said to be a double tap the home button (showing the open apps list), however I like the mechanism put forth by this new Cydia app Circuitous (Pro-switcher isn’t bad either but thats more WebOS inspired).
