If there is something that can take us back more than a decade in our relationship with computers, it has to be the old 2D games. The Prince of Persia I remember as one of the most extensively played game in my neighborhood and I am sure even my mom wouldn’t have forgotten this thing that kept us up for hours on our 486 machine back then.
Its fast forward almost 15 years (or more?) and here I have a little surprise on my iPad with Ubisoft bringing the original Prince of Persia on the AppStore. The game works superbly on the iPad and the controls are good enough to use and I am within minutes of downloading the app, lost in the memories of those fights. If you are someone who hasn’t played the original Prince on the PC, here is your chance to get in on the iPhone / iPod touch or the iPad and bond with your old PC friends much better! Worth the $0.99 spent!
