The much awaited iPhone 4 is out! To begin with the iPhone has a completely new design with a front and back glass and its available in two colours casings white and black (the white one’s my favourite). iPhone 4 also has a better camera, led flash and a front-facing camera for video chat features and HD video recording. It also adds a new video chat feature called FaceTime which connects users with wifi and it has an open platform. iPhone 4 also brings micro-sim better Wifi (802.11n) and battery life.

It delivers an amazing seven hours of talk time on 3G networks, upto 10 hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi and up to six hours on 3G, and up to 10 hours of video playback and up to 40 hours of audio playback.  iPhone 4 is powered by Apple’s new A4 processor that is used in the iPad. iPhone 4 also features  second microphone to kill unwanted background noise for improved call quality. It adds quad-band HSUPA to provide 7.2Mbps downlink and 5.8Mbps uplink capability. With so many hardware upgrades it also adds 2 grams of extra weight.

The aesthetics are a slight bit better, but i don’t consider the new features to be worthy of replacing my 3gs. It has the speed bump, camera upgrade and improved display. Though, the one thing that i was actually waiting for and truly wanted was increased storage capacity. I really can’t justify spending any additional money on a newer iphone model until the storage has been increased(hopefully to 64).
