Apple is obviously concerned about the entire hype about the iPhone 4 reception issue and thats exactly what they did at their press conference yesterday: try to shoot it down. Apple took two stands at the event, first to show that there is no real issue and the iPhone 4 reception is good and the second where they gave out free bumpers worth $30 each to all iPhone owners.
During the conference Apple ran a video describing the antenna testing initiatives at Cupertino that shows how much their products are put to test before they are shipped. Here is a small clip:
