As promised here is the iPhone 4 unlock now out officially. You can unlock the iPhone 4 with the latest version of Ultrasn0w. Here is a simple guide to unlocking your iPhone 4 on baseband 01.59.

1. Jailbreak your iPhone using the Jailbreakme hack

2. Add http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia sources (its ultrasn0w with a ‘zero’ and now letter o)

3. Search for Ultrasn0w (again the 0 is a zero) and install it.

Thats it your are done!

Do let us know how this worked for you.

iPhone 4 unlock available now
Glad to hear that ‘The very much anticipated Ultrasn0w carrier unlock is now available for the iPhone 4.’—Nice!!! So great and fast, Cydia are doing the work after jailbreakme release without a stop!
Hmm, for those 3GS unlock, ifunia gives some more insight, just turn to this “Unlock iPhone 3GS Baseband on iOS 4 with UltraSn0w” in iFunia iPhone column.

Hi thanks for all of that I have been trying all sorts of solutions to jailbreaking and unlocking os4 – none worked except for this! The jailbreakme.com hack worked brilliantly as did the unlock just installed my aussie sim and made some calls! fantastic!!!

After a few days I finally had a successful jailbreak. Took a while downgrading from 4.0.1 firmware to 3.1.3 OS firmware on my iphone 3g. But now the problem is that i have a 5.14.02 baseband with a 5.09 bootloader. So im unable to use fuzzyband. Is there any other way i can downgrade my baseband to finish unlocking the iphone 3g?
