Barnes and Noble brings Nook to iPhone

Barnes and Nobles, one of the world’s largest booksellers, have updated its range of offerings by bringing its eReader application to iPhone. B&N has also rebranded its eReader app offerings to NOOK for PC and NOOK for iPad.

The new NOOK for iPhone gets the same look and specs of the NOOK for iPad along with the updated features. The application syncs data across all the available platforms including iPhone, iPad, PC, Android and the NOOK eReader. It provides access to millions of eBooks available on B&N eBookstore and digital library.

The application supports in-app contect rating. Also, line-spacing, font style and size, and justification can be customized according to the users requirement. The application allows different reading modes for day and night reading. It allows one touch access to highlight, make notes or bookmark a page. Users can also avail the LendMe service which allows them to lend books to friends.

NOOK for iPhone is available on AppStore for free.
