Cydia now has a utility on offer that allows you to set a homepage on mobile Safari. Known as ‘Home Page in Safari’ this addon will let you pick your favourite website as a homepage on the iPad, iPhone or the iPod touch. Using the + button on Safari you can set any open webpage as the homepage for your browser. Simple!

This addon costs $0.99 on Cydia.

Great, I was looking for a way to do this for ages. Sputtr.com is a good start page for me and my iPad. :)
