Yes, you’ve read it right. People have been anonymously uploading photos and videos of Limesn0w unlock for iOS 4.2 and iOS 4.1 running iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS devices. Claims were being made to unlock the 2.10.04 and 05.15.01 basebands. Recently, I spotted one such posting at Limera1n.cc blog that claims Limesn0w unlock is in works. There wasn’t any Estimated Time of Arrival mentioned for the unlock. Even a video that was put up there.
George Hotz, who came up with Limesn0w unlock earlier hasn’t said a word by himself but the limesnow.com website states the obvious.

Several fake videos about Limesnow have been posted like this one by http://projailbreak.blogspot.com. Don’t fall for them and waste your time looking at them.
As the official word about the software unlock has come out from iPhone Dev team member MuscleNerd. The ultrasn0w software unlock would be released two days after Apple officially releases the iOS 4.2 update. So it’s going to be bit long wait till the iOS 4.2 starts getting available.
Once again I’d say, beware of such dubious unlock claims. Stay tuned for more clear and authentic details coming soon.
