Here is a future tech that we just went hands-on with. The Duracell myGrid might not be as integrated as the Palm Pre’s touchstone, but it does make up for that with the extra compatibility. The charger mat works awesomely with the Jacket for iPhone 3G / 3GS that we used and at the same time the power clips allows attachment of many more cellphones that we have with us. Given the amount of computing and media we do on a smartphone today, the battery chargers play a big role and we certainly see more such solutions coming up. And a bulk of them integrated with smartphones like the Touchstone from Palm Hp.
