Google’s fastest search, Google Instant, now has a beta version for iOS and Android phones. Google Instant provides instant search results as the user types the search query. It modifies the search results as its user modifies the search query, almost realtime.

Google Instant beta is now available for iOS 4 and Android 2.2 users on Google’s mobile homepage. Users can enable/disable the service from the same page.

Maybe its just me, but who actually goes to Google search site on their mobile device? especially android users that have a built in search bar app to which instant does not apply?

Cool idea but seems to have much more functionality on desktops

Thats a v valid point Harsh, the first query might not work with Instant, the second will :)
