Apparently Apple is looking for ‘Cellular Systems Performance Engineer’s’ who specialize in GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, CDMA etc. This shows a bend towards CDMA technology being tested by Apple? Well it won’t be entirely out of the way for Apple to test CDMA iPhones even before the 2007 release of the iPhone 2G. However in 2010, if Apple is playing with the technology, it does add to the Verizon CDMA iPhone rumor.
Rumors are getting stronger that Apple would reveal an iPhone 4 version that would work with the largest telecom carrier in US i.e. Verizon.Verizon is a partner with Apple for selling iPads and that is the only recent affiliation between the two companies that we have seen. Another thing worth noticing is the fact that Verizon has no ads out targeting the iPhone as aggresively as the Droid Does campaign did – hey its holiday season, remember?
