Good news for all you instapaper users out there on iOS. The app has just been updated to a new version that graduates the version number to v 3.0. The update endows the app with new “social” features that include the ability to post articles on Facebook twitter and Evernote. The rating system that used starts until now has been changed to a simpler “like” option. Your likes also gets shared automatically with friends on instapaper which I think is quite cool.
The app also gets a full fledged browser within it so that you don’t need to to use Safari to add articles to the app. Of course, apart from these, there are all the mandatory speed, UI and stability improvements made to the app as well.
That said, the reception to the new version hasn’t exactly being very good with people complaining about the new look. Try it for yourselves to check if this update is for you!
