We already know that iPad 2 has been launched in US. There were confusions between people whether the 3G+Wifi version will have the same boundation of contract from carriers or not. Today, @MuscleNerd confirmed that the 3G model is already carrier unlocked. He posted the screenshot of the iPad 2 3G where he is using the T-Mobile carrier. The same tag of factory unlocked may not apply to all carriers as Apple will sell both CDMA (Verizon) and GSM (AT&T) iPad 2 in United States but it is true for AT&T.
iPad 2 is thinner, lighter and faster from the previous generation (iPad 1). We will keep you updated once we get news on anything else.
