Today, MuscleNerd (iDevices hacker) confirmed that dialing ‘112’ from any mobile handset is an illegal attempt in US and in several other countries. Gevey Sim Unlock, for now, is the only way to unlock an iPhone 4 running on iOS 4.1/4.2/4.3.1 until BB-3.10 that was earlier confirmed by Redmond Pie. As Gevey Sim Unlock is somehow related to dialing ‘112’ to proceed for the unlock, therefore, it is considered an illegal method. Only problem reported by people from these types of unlocks is that they frequently loose signals leading you to reboot the smartphone again else you need to follow the method once more.
